Here is a little about me and my business. My name is Donald Haller Jr., but most people just call me Bru. I am born and raised in Kewadin, Michigan, and I graduated from Elk Rapids Public Schools. Following graduation, I continued on to Northwestern Michigan College in Traverse City. At NMC, I completed a two year transfer program before transfering to Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo. While attending WMU I completed my BBA in marketing and general business. After graduation, I took an entry level sales position with a local building product company, but soon returned to my calling -- remodeling.

In 1995 I wrote and passed my builder's license exam and have been remodeling ever since. I am a third generation builder. My Great Grandfather, Mervyn Barnes, was a reputable builder in the Kewadin and Elk Rapids area for several years. Upon his retirement in 1968, my father took over the business, remodeling and building custom homes. I, in turn, have focused on remodeling, trim work, and several other home improvement services. I specialize in KITCHEN REMODELING and BATH REMODELING, but have a wide knowledge of many facets of the trade. Please take a look at some of my photos to view the quality of my services. HOW WE DO BUSINESS

We are a hands on business. I do not manage other sub-contractors and draw a fee for handling the management  of these subs. We actually complete most of the work ourselves. I find it easier to maintain my quality standards and time schedule by doing the work ourselves. We start with demolition and finish up with pushing a broom. We even dust and do windows if needed.

Basically, we do everything but build new homes. We don't do remodeling as fill in work when things get slow; we only do remodeling work. That is why I feel we are specialized in this field, since we tackle the difficult jobs each and every day.

Customer service and quality workmanship are essential. If you leave a message,your call will be returned, usually the same day. We stand behind our final product, because our reputation demands it. If you don't believe it, just ask around and find out for yourself.

It is possible we have completed a project in your town or even neighborhood. We service Kewadin, Torch Lake, Elk Lake, Acme, Traverse City, Charlevoix, Williamsburg, Elk Rapids, and several other neighboring towns.
